Cannas are easy to grow and love full sun!  They bloom from spring to the first hard frost.  Heights range from 3 to 13 feet.   Cannas are at their best when fertilized with an all-purpose fertilizer, such as 10-20-10. 
In the spring after there is no danger from frost, plant bulbs 12-17 inches apart with the eyes up.  Cover with about three inches of soil.  Cannas can also be planted in the summer.
